Some Scientists think it,s impossible for life to exist anywhere else in the Cosmos. I disagree.

 SCIENTISTS SAY THAT IT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR LIFE TO EXIST ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE UNIVERSE.

I disagree. This is why:

There's more than 

1 TRILLION galaxies in the known Universe. That is according to a guesstimate by Scientists.

Only One percent of everything in the Universe is in galaxies. Everything else is just in open space.

The Milky Way Galaxy, in which we live, is only about 100,000 light years wide. It's not very big compared to a lot of others. We have approximately 200 Billion stars in our galaxy alone. Most stars have at least One planet around them. 

Using the "Drake Equation" each Scientist uses their own guess of numbers of how many planets may be in our galaxy, how many may have life, how many of the planets with life have intelligent life, etc.

Most Scientists say there's probably between 2 to 100 planets with life in the Milky Way Galaxy. Most Scientists say between 2-4 planets. My own guess is 2 or 3. Earth is one of them that I include in my guess. So, I guess 1 or 2 other planets have life in our galaxy. 

We will never know, for sure, all we can do is guess.

Now, take your guess of whatever you come up with, in my case, 3 and multiply it by 1 Trillion galaxies. Three Trillion planets with life in galaxies.

Now, remember that 99% of everything is in open space, not in galaxies. Add any number you want to that for planets in open space that may have life.

I will add another 

1 Quintillion planets in open space with life.

1,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Most of those planets won't have intelligent life. They might have microscopic, single cell bacteria that live in an environment of Methane, Ammonia and other gasses that are poisonous to humans and the planet might be -500° below Zero F! But, it is still life.

There's probably only 5 percent or less of those planets with life that have intelligent life and have radio telescopes that can send and receive signals and can communicate with us.

The closest star to Earth, besides the Sun, is: Proxima Centauri. It's about 4.2 light years away. Most other stars are Thousands or Millions of light years away! One light year equals 5.878 Trillion miles.

If the nearest star with a planet that has intelligent life listening to our radio signals is 10,000 light years away, the radio signals sent from Earth will take 10,000 years to get there. Their signals they send in response to us will take another 10,000 years to get to Earth! 

That is only if they can decipher our signals and figure out where they came from. 

That's a long time to wait for a response from aliens. In 20,000 years, when their signals for their response reaches us, human life might not longer exist.

I think that it's highly unlikely that we are the only intelligent life in the Universe.

Even if intelligent life does exist in the Universe, we will never be able to see the aliens through a telescope, not even with the Hubble or James Webb Telescopes. Theoretically, to see aliens 10,000 light years away, we would need a telescope bigger than the Sun. 

With a telescope that size, the aliens would only look like dots about the size of Ants. That's if they were the size of an avg human, 5.5 Feet tall. The image we saw through the scope would be of what the planet and aliens looked like 10,000 years ago.

If we wanted to see a much larger image of the aliens, we'd have to have a telescope about 3-5 times larger than the Sun! Then, maybe we could see a good image of what those aliens looked like 10,000 years ago. We would not get to see what they look like today.

Dinosaurs died off 65 Million years ago. So, if aliens live 65 Million light years away, if they looked at Earth through a powerful telescope, they would not see Humans, they would see Dinosaurs on Earth.

Humans have been reporting UFO and alien sightings for Millions of years. 

(The oldest Human remains that have been found were 7 Million years old.)

People all around the world, who have never met each other have reported alien sightings and abductions for a long time and most of their descriptions of aliens match almost exactly!

There are pictures of aliens and UFOS on the walls of the pyramids. Nobody knows how the Pyramids were built 5,000 years ago. Humans today can't recreate Pyramids exactly like they were made 5,000 years ago. Maybe they had help from aliens.

We have Crop Circles. Humans try to take credit for them. They say they made them for a joke. But, not likely. Because, there's no evidence of humans having been there and they pop up over night. They are also too perfect for humans to of made.

There are no foot prints, no tire tracks, no trash, like cigarette butts, lint from human clothes, human blood, paper, candy wrappers or any other human trash.

The circles are almost perfect 360 degree circles. Humans can't make a perfect crop circle. The corn or where stalks are not broken. The dirt below the circle is magnetized or has some other type of radiation coming off it.

Somebody is abducting Humans and Cows. They return the Cows and they appear to have been cut open with a laser. Humans aren't doing that.

The list goes on and on for why I believe there has to be life elsewhere in the Universe. I believe there's probably more than a Quintillion other planets with life in the Universe. Half of them with intelligent life the rest with unintelligent life.

The Moon.

Diameter: 2,159.2 Miles (3,475 Kilometers)

Perigee (its closest approach) the moon comes as close as 225,623 miles (363,104 kilometers). Apogee  (the farthest away it gets) the moon is 252,088 miles (405,696 km) from Earth. The average distance from Earth to the moon is about 238,855 miles (384,400 km).

Lunar Phase Period; 29.5 days.

Orbital speed around Earth: 2,288 Miles Per Hour (3,683 Kilometers Per Hour).

It has about 16.6% of Earth's gravitational force.

Escape Velocity: 1.47 Miles/second (2.38 K).

The word "Month" comes from MOON.

Luna is the Latin word for Moon.

The second largest crater in our Solar System is at the bottom of our Moon.

Every month, the Moon disappears for a few days. This is called the "New Moon". It happens because the Moon is hidden from the Sun by the Earth.

The Moon does not generate its own light. It reflects the Sun light off of its surface. When the Earth blocks only a small part of the Moon, this causes Lunar Phases, like, Crescent, Half Moon, etc.

(Not only the Moon doesn't produce its own light, but, none of the planet's, moons and other satellites produce light, everything reflects Sunlight. That's what we is Sunlight being reflected off planets, their rings and moons.)

We can't see the American flags on the Moon, because they are too small and too far away to be seen through a telescope.

Because of the sunlight, radiation and the fact that there's no atmosphere on the Moon, the US flags on the Moon have all turned White over the years.

Because there is no atmosphere on the Moon, it's almost a total vacuum. In a vacuum, there is no air, wind or molecules in the air.

Sound does not travel in a vacuum. So, THEORETICALLY, you could stand two inches away from someone and scream as loud as you can directly in their ear and they wouldn't be able to hear you. Again, I say that one is only THEORETICAL! It can't be proven Scientifically and until it is Scientifically proven, it's just a theory.

The Moon is moving away from Earth at approximately 3 Centimetres per year.

Since there's no wind on the Moon, Neil Armstrong's footprints will be there for a really long time. Millions of years.

The strongest influence on our ocean tides is the Moon. Other forces include the Sun's gravity and other forces under the water.

A full Moon does NOT make people go crazy! That is a myth and a superstition. Hollywood only makes it worse by making movies that say the full Moon makes people crazy.

When you see a ring around the Moon, this is usually caused by the Moonlight reflecting off water and ice in the clouds.

The Moon is "Tidally Locked" to the Earth. That means, the same side of the Moon always faces Earth. That's why we can never see the Lunar side of the Moon.

Moon temperature range: Negative  -280 F at night to 260 F during the day.

Only 12 humans have ever walked on the Moon. They were all Americans.

At the Moon's Apogee, you could fit all the planets, including Pluto, in the space between the Earth and the Moon. There would be only a little bit of space left over.

The Earth and Moon were created at around the same time. Since, they are both made out of similar materials, Scientists theorize that a large object may of hit Earth in its molten stage and knocked some material out into space, that material came together and formed the Moon. (That is not proven as fact, it's just the most accepted, Scientific theory.)

Occasionally, Moon rocks fall out into space. Some of them land on the Earth. Most of them are really small and they burn up in the atmosphere. But, if you know how to identify Moon rocks, you might find one in your backyard someday. The easiest and best place to find them is Antarctica. Most rocks from Earth's surface are buried under the snow. A rock on top of the snow probably came from space. (However, civilian's, people who are not Scientists and a few Special, military personnel, are not allowed on the continent of Antarctica. Except for some small areas around the outer perimeter.

You can actually buy an acre of land on the Moon. It would be One acre of the "Sea of Tranquility". I don't know why anyone would want to do it, because you can't actually go there and see the land that you bought. 

Autism Spectrum Disorders:

A few more Autism facts.
Most Autistic people, but not all:

1. They have trouble reading and understanding: Non-verbal cues. Such as body language, tone of voice, facial expressions, etc. Not only do they have trouble interpreting other people's body language, but, they often don't show much non-verbal cues, like facial expressions themselves.

2. One of the hardest and most uncomfortable things for them to do is to look somebody in the eyes! Giving another person direct eye contact is very frightening, uncomfortable, difficult and just feels weird.
It took me years to get used to looking people in the eye. When I first started trying to do it, it made me feel sick, rapid heart rate, hard to breath, I felt like vomiting, I had to resist the urge to run away, i was really scared and I actually felt like I was doing something illegal! Fortunately, I don't have that problem anymore.

3. Autistic people and Aspies (A person that has Asperger's) do feel a lot of empathy for other people, they just don't show it very well through verbal and non-verbal language.

4. They are not usually anti-social, they do want to talk to people. They just don't know how, they are uncomfortable approaching new people they don't know, they may of had a lot of bad experiences with people, they don't understand non-verbal language and don't know if it will be safe to approach a specific person.
But, if you make the first move and talk to them first, they will usually want to have somebody to talk to and they might hang out with you all day.

5. No verbal filter. Quite often, they will not know how to sugar coat things. They will not stop and think before they speak. They frequently just come right out and very bluntly say something that, to you, may sound inappropriate. They were not trying to offend anybody, they just didn't know any other way to say what was on their mind. Sometimes they might tell an extremely vulgar joke to somebody who is very religious and everybody in the room hears the joke, they think it's funny, but they don't dare laugh at it, because they don't want to be the one to offend the preacher that is standing next to the person who told the vulgar joke. (I've been there, done that!)

6. Selective Mutism.
If someone with Autism is uncomfortable around a specific person or doesn't know them very well, they might totally ignore that person and refuse to talk to them. This could go on for one day, a few minutes or the rest of their life! Usually, if the Autistic person gets to know the person they're ignoring or they just become more comfortable around them, they will stop doing this.

7. Not everybody with an Autism Spectrum Disorder is really good at Math and Science. They don't all think very logically. Some are more creative.

8.  A lot of Autistic people don't understand jokes. Sometimes if you tell a joke, everyone else will laugh and the Autistic will not laugh, they probably didn't understand the joke and will think about it for a while (Knock knock. Who's there....... What is so funny about knocking on somebody's door?), but they still won't understand it.
Worse yet, they might take the joke literally and think you were actually serious.

9. Literal thinkers. Just like taking a joke seriously, they might take other common expressions literally. If you say: "It's raining cats and dogs, a young kid might not understand that expression. The kid might look out the window and get confused because they don't see any animals falling out of the sky.

10. Blue lights are a sign that you support Autism Awareness. Mar-26-Apr-2, 2018 Is World Autism Awareness Week. April is National Autism Awareness Month. So, from now until April 30th would be a good time to put a Blue light on your porch.

11. Autistic people are often very detail oriented. If you see a car in a parking lot, you will notice that it is a Red, Ford Mustang. They will look at it differently. They might point out some small detail that nobody else can see. They might say: "The paint is chipped on the Right side of the hood."

12. Facial recognition. If an Autistic person sees someone they know and they are at a place where they see that person all the time, they will have no problem recognizing them and they will know exactly who that person is. But, if they go out somewhere else and see that same person somewhere else, they might not recognize them. It's even worse with people they have only known a short period of time.

13. Monotone voice sounds rude. A person with Autism often has a flat tone, pitch, tempo, inflection etc. They might tell you they're excited, happy, sad or anything else,  but, you can't hear it in their voice.
Some of them sound like a robot. Their voice is that flat and monotone. They don't realize it either. Some people accuse them of being rude or disrespectful, but, they are not being disrespectful. They don't realize there is anything unusual about their voice. So please don't let that bother you.

14. Multitasking. Most people with Autism Spectrum Disorders  (ASD) have a hard time multitasking. They may be able to handle doing two things at the same time, but, they will have trouble concentrating on both tasks.  Most of their attention will be focused on one of the two things.  They will forget about the other. Throw in a third task and forget it! They will probably not get all three things done at the same time!

15. Driving is a big problem for a lot of Autistics. Some people have Autism or a related disorder. They are 25 years old and still don't have a driver's license! They don't want it and are not ready.  They don't feel safe behind the wheel or whatever their reason is.
When they do start to drive, they often will never figure out exactly how to drive a stick shift properly and safely, without having any problems.  That requires a lot of multitasking.  You have to do everything with perfect timing and concentrate on too many things at the same time.  It is too difficult and a waste of time! Just keep it simple, get an automatic transmission,  you simply step on the gas and don't  concentrate any of that unnecessary, waste of time shifting!

16. Stimming: This includes things like, rocking back and forth or sideways, hand flapping, humming or fidgeting with an object, such as a pencil, toys or whatever they can find. This is one reason why Fidget Spinners were invented. They can help with stimming and fidgeting. (Please don't try to stop a child from stimming. It helps to keep them calm and prevent them from having a meltdown.)

17. Forgetfulness: Albert Einstein had Asperger's. Although, he was very smart and his IQ score was 160, he was very forgetful. People with Autism Spectrum Disorders often tend to be very smart, but, sometimes very forgetful. New Scientific and Psychological research has shown that most extremely intelligent people seem to be very forgetful.

18. Straight A students. If you notice when your kid is in elementary school, they don't have to study very hard and they are always getting straight As and Bs, that is a sign of Autism. It doesn't necessarily mean the kid is Autistic, it's just one symptom of Autism.

19. Intense interest or almost an obsession with a limited amount of things.
For some people with Asperger's and Autism, they might love Math, Chemistry, Physics, Dogs, Dinosaurs, cars or or other things.
Myself, I've always loved Astronomy, UFOs, planets and other things Astronomy related.
Also, ironically, I have always loved jokes. (Ironic, because, most Aspies don't understand Jokes very well. But, I've never had that problem.)

20. Less imaginative play. Some Autistic kids can be very imaginative. But, a lot of them are less imaginative and creative than other kids. They may choose to play games that are more simplistic and not as creative. They may require less imagination and be just logical and sometimes simple games.
They may be too much of a logical and straight to the point thinker. Or they might be too shy to want to join in a game that requires more creativity.
(I had that problem when I was younger. I was usually very creative, but, too shy to suggest a more creative game or join others in the creative games they were playing.)

21. Less interested in sports than most people seem to be. Autistic people often tend to be more independent and less team oriented. Other team members just get in the way. Aspies often choose games that are not team oriented games, such as Golf. There's no team, you don't have to wait for someone else to throw you the ball. Nobody can throw the ball to a dozen other players, etc. They prefer to take all the credit for the game and don't want other people getting in their way.
Autistic people often get bored watching sports. They don't understand the games or how and why people can sit there and watch them for a long time.
(I have had several friends who loved sports. I didn't understand that. However, in the Army, everybody hung out in one guys room in the barracks when any sport came on that they liked, especially: Wrestling and Football. If I wanted to hang out with my friends, I had to go suffer through the sports, just to hang out with everybody.)

22. Writing: Most people with Asperger's and Autism are more logical and less creative. They are usually better at Math and Science than they are at Creative writing. If they do get into writing at all, they are usually better at writing research papers, newspaper articles and Scientific reports rather than writing creative, fictional stories.
(Myself, I've done all of the above. I've written newspaper articles, fictional stories and as you can see here, Scientific and Psychological research reports. Writing has always been one of my strong points and something I enjoy.)

Jupiter.

The Earth would fit inside Jupiter 1324 times! It may not appear to be that much bigger than Earth, but, the way someone described it to me was: Because of the mass of Jupiter, it would be like a balloon, the planet would stretch , just like a balloon. Just like a balloon stretching to hold more water or anything else you put in it, Jupiter would, THEORETICALLY, stretch whenever you put something inside of it. It would stretch out enough to where All the other planets, including Pluto, would fit inside of it!
The famous, Great Red Spot is about Three times bigger than Earth.
It is a large storm that's been going on for over 300 years. It is currently, slowly shrinking. It spins counterclockwise at about 225 MPH (360 KPH). It is comparable to a hurricane.
Jupiter would fit inside the Sun 9 times.
It has a faint ring system. Scientists did not know about the rings until the Voyager Spacecraft got there. Voyager showed the rings for the first time. The rings are too faint to be seen with a Telescope. In fact, I have a really powerful Telescope and I can't see the ring with it. University of Central Florida in Cocoa, FL has the second largest Telescope in the state of FL and they can't see it with that scope.
It has, as of now, 69 confirmed Moons. Probably, more to be found.
Looking through my Telescope, I can see the color bands on the planet and Six of it largest Moons.
Since, Galileo invented his own Telescope and looked at Jupiter, and discovered 4 of these same Moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede & Callisto), they are called: Galileo Moons. Those are Jupiter's largest moons. The rest are too small to see from Earth.
(Unfortunately, someone else invented the Telescope, just a short period of time before Galileo invented his telescope. So, he can't claim credit for inventing it.)
There are some very violent storms on Jupiter. Mostly inside the planet. Lightning on this planet is much more powerful than what we experience here on Earth. Scientists believe that it rains Diamonds inside of Jupiter. Because of the heat and pressure inside of the giant ball of Gas. But, they can't prove it.
The composition of the planet is mostly: Hydrogen, Helium and Ammonia. It's believed to have a rocky and metallic core.
Since the planet spins so fast, it completes one rotation in 9.8 Earth hours.
The rapid rotation causes Jupiter to bulge at the Equator. The diameter at the Equator is: 88,846 Miles (142,948 K).
The diameter at the poles is: 83,082 Miles (133,708 K). The Scientific name for this shape is: An Oblate Spheroid.
Jupiter is a Brown Dwarf. A failed star. Since it is made up of the same elements as most stars. However, it would have to be 75 times more massive to cause nuclear fusion of Hydrogen and turn into a star.
The color bands around Jupiter are created by strong 400 MPH (640 K) winds flowing East to West in the planets upper atmosphere.
Jupiter has a huge magnetic field, larger than any other planets. It is also the strongest magnetic field in our Solar System. It's almost 20,000 times strong than the one here on Earth! It is more than 1,000 times the lethal dose of radiation for a human. This magnetic field damages every spacecraft that goes near it, even if it is heavily shielded. The magnetic field extends out between 600,000 - 2 Million Miles (1 Million - 3 Million  K) towards the Sun and forms a tail which extends over 600 Million Miles (1 Billion K) behind the planet.
At it's furthest point from the Sun Jupiter is 507.04 Million Miles away.
When it's closest to the Sun it's 460.24 Million Miles away.
It orbits the Sun at a speed of 29,205 MPH. Completing one rotation around the Sun in 11.86 Earth years.
The distance from Jupiter to Saturn depends on where they are in orbit. When they are on the same side of the Sun and at their closest point, they are approximately 5 Astronomical Units (AU) away from each other.
When they are on opposite sides of the Sun, they are about 15 AU away from each other.
(One AU is the average distance between the Sun and Earth. 93 Million Miles or 149,668,992 K).
Depending on where the Earth and Jupiter are in their orbits, Jupiter is between 4.2 and 6.2 AU away from Earth.
We are lucky to have a planet the size of Jupiter in our Solar System, because, being so big, it has a lot of gravity. It attracts a lot of Metiors and other things to it. So, rather than hitting Earth or the other planets, a lot of them hit Jupiter instead.
Imagine what might have happened if Shoemaker-Levy would of hit Earth.
The SL comet had been captured by Jupiter's gravity about 20 or 30 years before it broke into several large pieces and hit Jupiter in July of 1994. The fragments of the comet got too close to the planet on July 16, 1994. The first impact created a fireball larger than Earth! A total of 21 impacts were observed over the next six days. The largest one created a dark spot more than 7,456 Miles (12,000 K) across. The explosion it created was 6 Million Megatons of TNT. That's 600 times the worlds entire known nuclear arsenal at that time, according to: www.americaspace.com.
A comet or meteor that size hitting Earth would quickly put an end to all life on Earth! In fact, most Scientists believe that it was a large meteor that crashed into Earth 65,000,000 years ago that killed off the Dinosaurs.

LIGHTNING TRIVIA:

Lightning can strike up to 20 Miles away from a thunderstorm.
When you see Lightning in the distance on a hot day, but, you don't hear thunder, that's because, there is a storm a long ways away. Too far for you to see the rain clouds or hear the thunder. This makes it look like the lighting is being caused by the heat. People often think it is the heat that is causing the lighting. It's often referred to as "Heat Lightning". But, Heat Lightning does not exist. It is regular lightning from a storm that's too far away for you to see the rain or hear the thunder.
Lightning strikes the Earth between 50 and 100 times per second! Astronauts have confirmed that as fact, because they can see the clouds light up in several different places around the world, all at the same time. They can see it from the space station.
Lightning can travel in all directions, most Lightning is cloud to cloud lightning and it doesn't hit the ground. On the ground it can travel straight down, up, or sideways. According to the Discovery Channel and some high speed video footage of lightning strikes, which you can see on YouTube, most Lightning travels from the ground up, NOT down from the clouds!
Lightning has between 1 Million and 1 Billion Volts.
In the movie: Back To The Future, they use the the word: "Jigowatt". There is no such thing as a Jigowatt. The actors mispronounced the word: "Gigawatt". Just like the computer term, Gigabyte- 1 Billion bytes, a Gigawatt is 1 Billion Watts.
When people get struck by lightning, they usually don't get hit directly by the bolt, usually, the lighting hits something else, if someone is touching the object that got hit, they get zapped. It can also "splash", or bounce off something it hits and hit someone. Sometimes, it hits the wet ground several feet away and if a person is standing on the ground near the strikes, electricity travels across the wet ground and hits them.
The record for the most times being struck by lightning lightning is 7 times! It was a park ranger. He lived to tell about it! However, he had Psychological and physical health problems after being struck that many times.
The lighting capital of the word as of 2016, according to NASA.gov, is: Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela. They get an avg of 233 lightning strikes per square Km every year.
Before NASA researched this, The Congo Basin in Africa held the record for the most Lightning activity each year.
NASA conducted their research with: "The Lighting Image Sensor" (LIS) on the Tropical Rainfall Measurement Mission.
The lighting capital of the US is Tampa, FL. They have more Lightning than any US city. The word Tampa comes from the Clausa Tribe in the 16th century. The word Tampa means: "Sticks of Fire".
The Lighting Belt is an area of FL that extends from Tampa to Orlando and from Orlando down to Ft Myers and Lake Okeechobee. That  area of FL gets the most Lightning each year.
Lightning can generate heat up to 60,000 degrees F. That's 6 times hotter than the surface of the Sun!
Lightning kills more people than Hurricanes and Tornadoes combined every year.
NASA is not supposed to launch rockets through clouds, because, that could trigger lightning. However, I have seen them do it and the rockets did not cause lightning. Not the ones I saw.
Most commercial airplanes get struck by lightning at least once or more every year. Because of all the safety features on airplanes  to protect the plane and passengers from lightning, most people don't even know that the airplane was struck by lightning. In fact, planes can even trigger lightning.
Experts say that if lightning hits your car while you're in it, you should be safe. The force of the lighting will be absorbed by the outer frame of the car and you, theoretically, should not be affected by it. Unless you stick your arm out the window and touch something else that is touching the ground, then you'll get fried.
Lightning can be produced by other things besides rain, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, rockets and sometimes even a huge fire, which can also cause a fire tornado. That is a whirlwind caused by a fire. It sucks up the flame. Now the tornado is spinning around and it is actually spinning a flame around with it! Making it even more dangerous.l
Some other planets have storms on them and some of them also produce lightning. Jupiter has some of the most violent storms  in the Solar system. According to NASA, Lightning on Jupiter is much more powerful than what we experience on Earth.

Black holes in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Scientists have known for a long time that there's a Supermassive Black hole in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. But, now they've found a lot more small black holes and they guesstimate that there might be as many as 10,000 more small black holes in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.
The way most most Supermassive Black holes form is by "eating" other black holes, stars and other things. Everything that the black hole consumes adds more mass to it and the black hole grows. The more it eats,  the bigger the black hole becomes. Most black holes start out as small ones. Then they suck things in it and they become bigger.
The way they form in the first place is:
A giant star runs out of Hydrogen and other forms of fuel. It collapses and what's left over is a black disk that has an immeasurable amount of mass. In fact, according to Einstein, a black hole might have an infinite amount of mass. However,  I find that hard to believe, because it sounds impossible for anything to literally have infinite mass.
The Sun is a Medium star. It doesn’t have enough mass to form a black hole. Scientists measure other stars, black holes and other really large objects in space with.   "Solar. Masses". One solar mass is the mass of the Sun.
In order to form a black hole, a star has to be at least 5 solar masses.
There are a few black holes that Scientists have found which they think are Millions or Billions of solar masses. These are called: Supermassive Black holes. There is one in the center of every spiral galaxy, including the Milky way.
The gravity from these Supermassive black holes helps hold the galaxies together.
Scientists are not sure exactly how Supermassive black holes form. However, one reason might be that it could of consumed Thousands of other black holes and planets and kept getting bigger.
The gravity from a black hole is so strong that almost nothing can escape from it. Even if something traveled at the speed of light, it would not be able to escape from the gravitational pull of a black hole. That is why they are hard for Scientists to find.
However,  Stephen Hawking discovered a type of radiation that does manage to escape from black holes. Since he discovered it, this radiation was named: Hawking radiation. Astronomers need special, X-ray telescopes to see it.
This technology is so new, that until recently, nobody had ever actually seen a black hole. They knew they existed, because they could see stars, planets and other things getting sucked into them. Hopefully, with the newer, X-ray telescopes, Scientists will actually be able to get a picture of a black hole for the first time ever! Astronomers have been talking about trying to do that this year (2018).

Aliens in the Milky way Galaxy.

The Milky Way Galaxy is approximately 100,000 Light Years across. We are are near the far end of one side. If aliens have tried to contact us all the way from the other side and they were 90,000 LY away, their message wouldn't reach us for 90,000 years after the day they sent it. That is only if they used a Radio Telescope like Scientists use here on Earth. That's because radio waves travel at about the speed of light thorough space.
Assuming they are much more intelligent and much more advanced than Humans and they've invented a UFO that can travel ten times the speed of light and they are also able to survive the G Force, it would still take 9,000 years to travel to us.
They could also have a time warp or, better yet, use Einstein's theory of "Bending Time and Space", which is only theoretically possible, where you could bend two points in space and bring them together. Then they would be able to pull our Solar System to wherever they are and just fly across within only a few Seconds! That would be so cool, but highly unlikely.
However, there's also a small chance that they will be less intelligent than us and they can't even figure out how to get off the ground of their own planet. I doubt that though. But, if that were true, or even if they had a big spaceship traveling towards us from 90,000 LY (27,607 Parsec) away, we still wouldn't be able to see them with the world's most powerful Telescope, which is called: "The James Webb Telescope". It will be much more powerful than the Hubble. They haven't even sent it up yet. NASA will launch it up within a few years. I don't know how, unless they get our space program going here again by that time. Otherwise, they will have to contract it out and have either one of the civilian agencies like Space X do it or Russia may have to send it up for the US.
If the aliens are outside of our Galaxy, they will be able to get in the Milky Way to visit us, but it will be extremely difficult for us or them to get out of our Galaxy. Because, the Milky Way is so big, and so strong that, Because of all of its gravity and several other forces of Physics, which I don't understand, you would have to travel about 1.2 Million miles per hour to get out of the Milky Way! That is the Escape Velocity of the Milky Way Galaxy.
If you did get out though, you may have a much easier time getting back in, but, since the spiral arms of the galaxy are rotating pretty fast, the whole galaxy will be flying away from you through space and our entire Solar System is moving through the inside of the galaxy,  if you did get back inside, you would be a long ways away from where you started from and you'd be far away from the Earth. Good luck finding it again!
Personally, I believe aliens have already been here, who do you think built the Pyramids 5,000years ago? As well as Crop Circles and other things.
(BTW, one Parsec is approximately 3.2 Light Years.)

Things you learned in school (and other places) that are wrong.

Ben Franklin:

He never flew a kite in a thunder storm. His kite was not struck by lightning. He did not discover electricity.

Yes, he did fly a kite in clouds that were electrically charged, but they were not storm clouds.

He did not get struck by lightning. If he had been, he would have either died or been seriously injured.

Electricity had been discovered Thousands of years before Franklin was ever born.

He worked a lot with electricity. Someone asked him which direction electrons flowed out of a battery, he told them: “I think it flows from Positive to Negative”. For years everybody believed that. It wasn’t until the mid 1900’s when they invented the electron microscope that they were able to see electrons under the microscope and prove Franklin’s guess wrong. Electrons flow out of the NEGATIVE TERMINAL AND BACK TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL!

 Einstein:

He did not do very well in school. Although he was a genius with an IQ of 160, he did not show it in school. Some of his teachers in school thought he would never amount to anything.

He had Aspergers, this caused him problems. He couldn’t walk until he was about 4. He had problems communicating. He couldn’t speak full sentences until he was 7.

He actually was good at Math. If he hadn’t been good at Math, he would never been successful as a Physicist.

Bill Clinton:

Yes, Congress did officially impeach him. The reason that he was still able to finish out his term as President is because Congress did not vote to “Remove him from office”.

Washington:

He never really chopped down a Cherry Tree, like you probably learned in school. Over 200 years ago, somebody wrote a fictional novel about Washington. In the book, he chops the bark off his dad’s Cherry Tree and the tree dies. Even in the book, he did not chop down the tree!

Edison:

He did not invent the Light Bulb by himself. He owned a company and some of his employees actually discovered how to make the light bulb work. But, since Edison owned the company, he took full credit for it! This still happens in companies all the time today. If you invent something, your boss will steal all the credit for your invention. He gets on TV and tells the world: “I invented this. I had a hard time making it work, but, I finally figured it out……………” Then he puts the paten in his name, any awards that your invention earns go to the boss. He gets all the money, etc. Your name is never going to be mentioned.

Tesla:

Edison and other people created so many myths about him that I could almost write a book about them all.

He had an idea that would have given the world FREE energy.

He used to work for Edison. But, they didn’t get along very well, so he quit and opened his own company.

He came up with the idea of using Alternating Current (AC) electricity instead of Direct Current (DC). He told everyone that it would be so much better than using batteries. Edison was much more powerful and had a lot more money. Edison went out of his way to prove Tesla wrong and convince the public that Tesla was wrong and he was an idiot. The people believed Edison for a long time. He was able to convince people that his idea of sticking with the old way of using batteries was the best way to go.

Tesla’s idea of AC electricity being better took years before it caught on. But, when people figured out it was better, they put up power lines and that is what comes out of the electric outlets in almost everybody’s homes and other buildings today.

Tesla was found mysteriously dead in a hotel room one day. He was murdered. Most of his research documents were stolen. Nobody knows for sure if Edison was involved in his murder or not. (I think he probably was involved.)

The federal government doesn’t want us to have free energy, because, they’d get less money. So They were very likely involved in his murder to!

 Voting:

When you cast your vote for President, YOU are not voting actually for President, you are voting for Electoral College (EC) votes. Each state has a certain number of Electoral College votes. It depends on the population of the state as to how many Electoral College points they have.

If your state has 30 EC points, If the state votes mostly Republican, most of the people the state sends out to vote for the EC will be expected to Republican supporters. They will be expected to vote Republican. However, when they go cast their own votes, you don’t know who they are going to vote for, they can still vote for whoever they want.

Lightning:

You’ve probably heard the term: “JIGAWATT” in the movie Back To The Future. There is no such thing as a Jiggowatt. It was a mispronunciation of the word: “GIGAWATT”. The word “Giga” means Billion. Just like with a computer, as in Gigabyte (One Billion Bytes). A Gigawatt is One Billion Watts of electricity.

Lightning strikes the Earth between 50 and 100 times every second. NASA can see it from space.

Lightning does not usually come down from the clouds to the Earth, it usually goes from the ground up! Lightning can go in all directions: Up, down, Horizontally, diagonally, etc.

Most lightning never hits the ground, it is cloud to cloud lightning.

The Lightning Belt is an area in FL that gets more lightning strikes than anywhere else in the US. It goes from Tampa, crosses over Orlando and ends in Daytona Beach.

More people get struck by lightning in FL almost every year than any other state.

READ THIS ONE CAREFULLY! Don’t get confused by the facts here! Each year,  there’s not normally a lot of people in the state of Michigan that get struck by lightning. However, (READ THIS PART SLOWLY! TAKE A MINUTE AND LET YOUR BRAIN PROCESS THIS!) However, there have been more people in the state of MI who have been reported as having been struck by lightning ON THE GOLF COURSE, WHILE PLAYING GOLF than in any other state. (OK, go back and read the last part of this again if you have to, before you say it doesn’t make sense or it contradicts or any other stupid comments. It makes perfect sense!)

(I’m sorry, I’ve had problems with that one before. I tried to explain it to some stupid idiots before and all they did was argue with me and say: “That don’t make sense. First you said, “There’s not a lot of people in MI that get hit by lightning, then you said there’s more people who get struck there.”

Then I have to explain: More people have been struck ON THE GOLF COURSE in MI than anywhere else. Other than that, there’s not a lot of people who get struck in MI.)

When people do get hit by lightning, it’s not usually a direct hit. The lightning either hits another object and bounces off, hitting the person, hits the water they’re standing in or hits something they are touching.

Roswell UFO:

I just had to include this one, because I love Outer Space, Astronomy and especially UFO’s more than anything! I guess I’m a geek.

Since UFO stands for: Unidentified Flying Object, anything you see flying through the air can be considered a UFO. If you don't know for sure what it is, in other words,  you can't identify the object that you see in the air, up to the moment that you can tell what it is, technically, it is a UFO. Most of the time, however, when we hear about a UFO, we think of flying saucers from outer space.

Years ago, something crashed in Roswell, NM. Nobody knows for sure what it was, except the US government! According to witnesses, there were three strange beings on the ground near the object that landed. The material the spacecraft was made out of did not look like any material on Earth. It was not the shape of anything that we have on Earth that can fly. There were other strange things about it to.

The US military sure got there pretty fast. They searched the whole area with a magnifying glass and picked up every single tiny piece of the UFO. So if someone else went out there later to find a piece of it, there was literally nothing left of it. Not even a speck of dust!

When the military finished cleaning up the remains of the UFO, they threatened all the witnesses saying, “If you tell anyone what happened here, we’ll kill you and your family! You are going to get on the news now and say it was just a weather balloon.”

People think they probably took the remains of the UFO and aliens to Area 51. I don’t think they took the UFO there. I think there was another top secret location that is even more top secret than Area 51 where they took it and no one knows where this location is. That would be a more likely place to take it.

The US military declassified some documents 15 or 20 years ago that tell about the US military attempting to make a flying saucers. The reason they never used the military version of the flying saucer is, because they couldn't get it to lift up off the ground more than a few feet and it would only fly a short distance before it fell to the ground. They eventually had to give up the project, because it was costing too much time and money. So it's not they didn't want to build a UFO, they just couldn't get it to work.
